Chicago Bears The biggest problem remains a revamped offensive line that lacks NFL experience at their positions. Only C Olin Kreutz is playing where he played last opening day. LT Chris Williams has five starts at his spot, LG Roberto Garza hasn't played the left side since '05, RG Lance Louis never has played in a regular-season game and RT Frank Omiyale hasn't played that position in the NFL. The line has struggled in pass protection, although Louis and Omiyale have shown flashes of being effective run blockers.

Griffin blew out his left knee in the NFC championship game against the Saints last January, an anterior cruciate ligament injury that typically requires about nine months of recovery. Sage Rosenfels and Darius Reynaud are doing a lot of cramming for their first game with the New York Giants. It's part of the job when you are traded to a new team a little more than a week before the season opener and you have to be ready. Rosenfels is the only other quarterback on the team and has to be prepared if something happens to Eli Manning.
