The Minnesota Vikings have traded veteran quarterback Sage Rosenfels to the New York Giants for an undisclosed future draft pick, NFL.com reports. Rosenfels will back up Eli Manning with the Giants. New York needed a No. 2 after losing Jim Sorgi to a season-ending shoulder injury. Rosenfels has made 12 career starts with the Miami Dolphins and Houston Texans, but he did not get into any games for the Vikings last season. "Every quarterback wants to play," Rosenfels, 32, recently told The Associated Press.
