New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady agreed to a four-year contract extension Thursday that would make him the NFL's highest paid player, according to two people with knowledge of the contract. The extension begins in 2011 at an average of $18 million per year with a total of $48.5 million guaranteed, one of those persons said.
