Reason for concerns: AFC South (SportingNews.com)
September 3rd, 2010A capsule look at reasons for concern among teams in the AFC South: Houston Texans 1. The running game. Even though Arian Foster averaged 6 yards rushing in preseason, there's no guarantee coach Gary Kubiak will have the kind of running game he wants, one that ranks among the top 10. Foster started only two games as a rookie. Steve Slaton has a toe injury after being injured last season. 2. Interior offensive line. September 2nd, 2010With most starters watching from the sideline, Atlanta and Jacksonville got a last look at players vying for open roster spots. No one really stood out. Fullback Brock Bolen scored on a 16-yard run, Josh Scobee kicked two field goals and the Jaguars beat the Falcons 13-9 Thursday night. The teams exposed just a few starters to the preseason finale, with coaches and close friends Mike Smith and Jack…
