Teams had until 5 p.m. ET Sept. 4 to reach the NFL-mandated 53-player roster limit. Here's a team-by-team look from SN's correspondents at cuts and other decisions by teams in the division: Houston Texans Coach Gary Kubiak called it "the toughest decision I've had to make" when he kept kicker Neil Rackers over Kris Brown, the last original Texan. Brown was 4-of-5 on field-goals attempts in preseason, and his only miss was a 56-yarder.

Colts make trade for DB as roster trimmed to 53 (AP)

Colts draft pick Ray Fisher has been cut while local native Devin Moore made the 53-man roster Saturday. Fisher, an Indiana alum, lost the competition with Moore for the return job. Also out is Brandon James, the former Florida player who was an undrafted free agent. The Colts also made a trade Saturday, sending an undisclosed draft pick to the Washington Redskins for defensive back Justin Tryon.
